Prison Volunteering from Marc Krevo on Vimeo.
Currently there are over 100,000 inmates incarcerated in the State of Florida. While the state functions to provide all the necessary services for these inmates there is a tremendous need to help them. Despite the circumstances that got them to prison, unless they change their entire way of life many of these inmates who are released will find themselves returning to prison.
Therefore, these inmates need to find a way to change their life and volunteers can help inmates to begin a new life. While many inmates feel that society has “thrown away the key” on them, they need to know that there are those who care about them and that God loves them. When volunteers come into prison they not only bring help but hope.
